Lower Eype HolidaysDairy cottage is located in Lower Eype, Eype which is a small beautiful village on the “Jurassic coast” of west Dorset that has in recent years obtained World Heritage Status.
With outstanding views over Eype down, Thorncombe beacon, and the village itself the cottage is perfectly situated on the foot/ bridle path that connects to the coastal path and over the downs.
This makes dairy cottage an ideal base for a mountain biking, walking, or fishing holiday or just to get away from it all.
The local village pub is only a 3 minute walk from the cottage, and serves good “pub grub” and locally brewed ales which can be enjoyed on the terraced garden over looking the valley.
A friendly welcome is always waiting for you from the landlord, who also welcomes families and dogs.
Eype’s mouth country hotel can be found on the way to the beach and has it’s own “Smugglers bar” that is open to non-residents.
Eype’s secluded beach is only a five-minute walk away but has a car park if you’d prefer to drive.
